I saw somewhere that there might be a patch for that, but it doesn't seem to be included in "abioj's" build. webm files are not processed if a folder containing them is dropped on mtn_drop. Mtn (along with mtn_drop) is still the best thumbnailer I've come across, so it would be a shame if it lost support. One of the strong aspects of mtn is its blazing fast speed (with the -z switch). I was hoping to maintain that advantage, and hopefully the patch will help do that. I tried using the -N switch and found it created a filename not as I expected. I was expecting but, instead, the filename lacks the video extension, the. txt, and has a -B at the end? I wasn't sure if that was by design, or not. While woking with -N I wondered if the results of an entire folder could be processed into a single file, e.g., foldername_vids.txt, with each clip info separated with a blank line. It would be a great tool for documenting and organizing many video clips.
